impressions.

rediscovered these photos from last semester while i was trying to put together my portfolio. (or just trying to avoid doing actual work thats due tomorrow)

i didnt realize it back then when i shot these but now as i look at them as one whole series, they start forming this strange sort of movie-dream-sequence. they start feeling like stills from a movie but at the same time, also like flashbacks of scenes from my own dreams. except the last part might have been my memory playing tricks on me.

sometimes, i just cant tell reality from fabricated memory anymore.
and i cant decide if thats a bad thing or not.
but maybe not? because at the end of the day, made-up memory often softens the harshness of actual reality.
